A Yellow Moment, Oil on Canvas, 11 x 14, (28 cm x 36 cm).
In Autumn of 2024, I couldn't paint while I was struggling with the passing of my mother. There were moments of profound sadness so I would occasionally go for a long run in the woods near where I live to think and deal with my emotions. On one such run I came across a beautiful place in the woods where the leaves were a stunning yellow against a carpet of amber leaves. It was beautiful. I felt a moment of peace and calm so I stopped, my mind quiet, and just took in this incredible place. I felt hope, and peace, and solice. Time passes but this yellow moment remains in my heart. So, here is my Yellow Moment. Light, hope, radiance and love.
