Why do all the snow scenes seem to be subdued? I still want to push the envelope and let passion, colour and light be front and centre even when painting snow. If you've ever done some night skiing and happen to be on the slopes as the sun sets, you'll understand this scene. Whether in the Rockies, Laurentians or skiing Blue mountain, you'll get a sense of the light, colour and rush of adrenaline that fills you. Stop, and feel the moment. I hope it made you pause!
