• Upload a profile photo. Don't be shy people buy from people and like to identify with who they are dealing with. *Only artists with profile photos are shown on the homepage under Prolific Creators
• Adding a phone number is optional and will be partially masked on our site for your safety
• Include a link to your personal website, online shop, or social media channel
• User type will remain Personal unless you are signing up as an Art related company or Gallery
• About you information: Add your artist's bio, or tell prospective buyers your art story so they have a little knowledge about you as a person and as an artist.
• Click the Update button

• Click on the List Artwork button in the top right-hand corner
  
  
• Select the appropriate category for your artwork
  
  
• Your location will be auto-filled from your profile. If you do not have your location completed on your profile then you will have to fill it in here each time you want to list more artwork
  
  
• Your contact information will be auto-filled from your profile. There are two checkboxes to indicate if you want your phone number or email address to show up on your artwork listing. (Registered users can send you a message regarding the purchase of your artwork which is accessible in account dashboards)
  
  
• Input the price you are listing your artwork for.  Alternatively you can choose to add 'Check with Seller' or 'by Commission'
  
  
• Upload good quality photos of your artwork such as...straight on, backside, close up, side angle, signature, certificates of authenticity.
  
  
• Add the title of the artwork
  
  
• Add a detailed description of your artwork, including its size, medium, and artists name. Use descriptive words if possible as this is used when potential buyers are searching.
  
  
• Add tag words that prospective buyers might use to search for your artwork, but were not used in your description.
  
  
• View the payment fees and choose any promotions that you may want to ad

* NOTE: Although 'To show your listing you must pay the publish fee or join as a member.' is shown, you may have Gallery Credits you can use to publish your listing in the next step.

Our mission is to make the art buying and selling process as easy as possible. It's difficult enough for big businesses to keep up with navigating the ever-changing online landscape, let alone an artist who would rather be creating.  We would love to offer this service for free (and that can be arranged if you contact us) but the minimal $2/month charge does three things.

1. Keeps our membership current and up to date
2. Keeps our platform safer (robots don't make payments...yet.)
3. Helps us keep the lights on so we can continue supporting artists.

First of all, it's 100% Free (no credit card required) and once you have an account you can enjoy these benefits:

• Buyers and sellers can message each other regarding transactions and these are kept in your dashboard for easy access.
• Keep track of all your favorite works of art
• We value our members and add $2 credit to your account each month which can be used for listings and promotions, and to continue your lifetime free membership.

Gallery credits are funds that get credited to your account in three ways.

• LocalArt.Store deposits credits to your account for appreciation of your membership
• You are rewarded for referring others who join our platform
• You purchase Gallery Credit Packs at a discount for convenience
  
  

Your wallet is only used to hold your Gallery Credits and as such the funds within your wallet have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn or used to purchase artwork from sellers.  They can only be used for the following.

• To purchase or extend memberships
• To list artwork for sale on our website
• To add your listing to our Gallery showcase
• To highlight your listing so it will stand out

Unlike commission-based marketplaces, LocalArt.Store charges no sales fees, allowing artists to keep 100% of their earnings. We offer affordable, unlimited listings for just $2/month, giving artists and businesses an ad-free, low-cost way to showcase their work. Our platform also promotes artwork across social media, increasing visibility for sellers.

Yes, we do.  From your My Account > Dashboard, go to Members Area > Wallet & Packs. Once there, you will see your unique referral code. Share this code with other artists, friends, family, and associates who might benefit from joining LocalArt.Store. If they join, both of you will receive a $12 Gallery Credit—it's a win-win! The more artists that get involved, the stronger our community becomes, which helps promote local talent.

Both the email of the buyer and the seller are safe and not revealed to either party during the conversation using the send message form on our website. 

We replace the artists and potential buyers' email addresses with our routing email address ([email protected]).  Your conversations are kept in your account under Messages.

Sellers always have the option to add their email to any listing.  If you do so, for your safety, it will be masked as in this image and will need to be clicked by a human to be revealed.
