Through the leaves, Oil on Canvas, 30 inches by 48 inches (76 cm by 122 cm) this painting was a true labour of love. It's a painting that is a metaphor for much more than it seems on so many levels. We can all choose to walk past the dried leaves in front of us, push past those distractions or barriers, walk through cold waters towards light and love. We can't be afraid of moving forward because there is much to see, feel and explore. I choose light. This is a spot in the Bruce trail that captured my attention and left me thinking about the dried leaves that stand in the way of the scene beyond.
