About seller
I often ask myself - why do I create art? The answer is always the same. I cannot imagine my life without it. The process of creation is mysterious and wonderful. Some artists love painting still life, portraits, abstracts, landscapes, nudes, nature, and many other beautiful and challenging things that surround us and make our lives sometime very trying, sometime incredibly happy, and always interesting.
In my art, I love painting it all. But not in that order or separately. I love to tell a story. I love to combine, synthesize, press and force together sometimes incompatible elements, colors, imaginary sounds, and emotions into some previously unseen imagery, that may convey something unusual, at times strange, and at times wonderful to contemplate. When the story is told, the closure brings satisfaction, and a bit of sadness.
Now. What comes next? Another sheet of brass waiting for its embossing. Another blank canvas waiting for its own story. The process is fascinating and timeless.
